why
the flash app?
there is a vast array of software available today that
allows spammers to harvest message boards, forums, newsgroups
and web pages of all available e-mail addresses for inclusion
in spamming lists. it's automatic, it requires no work on
the part of the spammer, and it's a pain. simple things
like this can protect e-mail addresses from this automatic
process (as can printing mail addresses in images rather
than text). it's pretty obvious I whacked it up in 5 minutes,
but I'll see if I can fix it to look a touch nicer in time
